FARM DAY - Thursday

Farm Day Information

Third grade's Farm Day will be Thursday, May 1st. First, we read Charlotte's Web. Now the students have been researching different farm animals for a few weeks. Some farm animals we are researching are pigs, horses, cows, and sheep. Students have created a poster of their farm animal. On their posters are fun/interesting facts about their farm animal. Each group also made up a song or a poem to go with their animal. 

On Thursday, students will be able to dress up for Farm Day. They may dress up like a farm animal or like a farmer. Start thinking about your costume.

1. Tomorrow is the book sale at Keller. If you are interested in purchasing a book, each book will cost 25 cents.
2. IMPORTANT: Tomorrow is our farm field trip. Please dress appropriate and wear comfortable shoes (we will be walking a lot). Also, make sure your child's lunch is in a brown paper bag or a plastic bag with their name on it. Everything will be thrown away, no containers. Place everything in a plastic bag, foil, plastic, etc.
