Recycling - In School Field Trip

We had a speaker come to Helen Keller to discuss the importance of RECYCLING. Our third graders learned which items could be recycled and which items cannot.

Homework:  
1. Keep studying your math facts nightly. STUDY YOUR FACTS!!! (M.A.H.)

2. Please make sure you check your child's Friday folder every weekend and make sure that it gets returned signed on Monday. Also, make sure you and your child look over graded papers that were sent home. Please contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns.

3. Please log your minutes if you are reading at home.

4. READ AT HOME!!!! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! Example: Read the newspaper with a family member on Sunday. :)

5. Multicultural Box Project - Due May 4th STUDY YOUR COUNTRY!!!

Skpe - TEACHER IN SPAIN

To go along with our multicultural project.....students were able to meet Mrs. Cal's friend in Spain (Skype). Miss Strode teaches English to high school students in Spain. She spoke to the students about the foods, music, and transportation in Spain. Miss Strode also spoke about her school. This was a great learning experience. The students had a blast!
